“Modern and contemporary history of art has made defining what is art and what is not a problematic issue. Still, we would probably all agree that art is a human activity, a creation, expressing the believes and intimate feelings of individuals and society, and that its purpose is to move the viewer or listener. The work of art uses means of expression that go beyond those of ordinary language, the simple communication of information, or propaganda to appeal to the deepest-seated emotions of the human being.”
